2010 Australian Rogaining Championships
Grants for junior teams

The 2010 Australian Championships will be on 27-28 March hosted by the ACT Rogaining Association and held in the beautiful Snowy Mountains, a 2 hour drive from Canberra.

There is an opportunity for juniors aged 12-18 to apply for funding under the "Local Sporting Champions" program before 30 June 2009.   Rogaine rules allow teams where members are under 18, as long as all are 14 or over. In the Australian championships they compete in the under 23 category.

Australian Intervarsity Rogaining Championships

1-2nd of August

The AIRC is this year being hosted by the ACT Rogaining Association. It will be held somewhere on the NSW south coast on the 1-2 August. This is an opportunity for your university outdoors club to show their mettle in the national champs, or to simply get together and meet keen individuals from other outdoor clubs from around NSW and the rest of the country.

To support students from around the country attending  NAMSF  will be awarding subsidies for selected teams to travel to the event. As well as this, NAMSF will be covering the entry fees of ALL student entrants, whether they are full time, part time or even high school students.

For those people who haven't rogained before, don't worry because there are just as many people there to have a great weekend as there are to be competitive. Even better, come along to the the Paddy Pallin 6hr rogaine on the 14th of June for a warm up run.

For more details about either of these great events check out the Facebook group "Rogaining NSW" or email unirogaining@gmail.com

Please spread the word to everyone you know and we hope we will see you there!
