The Dharug Dreamtime: 6/12 hour event, Mass start 12pm; 6 hour finish 6pm, 12 hour finish 12am, Saturday, 2nd May, 2015

Put on your shoes, hat and gaiters and grab your compass for our first "bush" event of 2015.

Located just 1.5 hours from Sydney CBD, this event explores the beautiful and historically significant Dharug National Park.

The course will involve a mix of tracks and ridge navigation for some spectacular vistas of the river and valley, you may find caves and ancient rock carvings depending on what route you take.

The Hash House will be at beautiful Mill Creek camping and picnic area, 4km east of the Wisemans Ferry village. Camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights. Dinner will be served, as well as breakfast for those staying on the Sunday morning.

NSWRA's 2015 Committee.

Our AGM was held after the Minigaine on 22 March 2015 and your 2015 Committee was elected.

We still have a few vacancies: Publicity Coordinator and Safety Officer.

We would love a few keen rogainers to put up their hand. If you are interested contact Dave at secretary@nswroganing.org or give Gill a call on 0413 905 551

Photos and results - 3hr Minigaine: Sunday 22 March, Kincumber, Central Coast

Results and photos from the 3-hour "Bellbirds" Minigaine held last Sunday are now up on the website. Over 200 people (teams and individuals) took to the forests, parks and streets of Kincumber, and many scaled Kincumber Mountain Reserve.

A few quick legs cleared the course, with Steve Ryan and Jeremy Fowler, first back to the hash house in the teams and Mike Hotchkis for the solo category.

Andrew, Rochelle, Jemma and Karen Duerden were fantastic hosts and set a great course with lots of route options for everyone.

ACTRA's Autumn double event: 18/19 April

Entries are now open for the ACTRA's Lower Cotter Catchment Autumn Rogaine events on 18-19 April. The events consist of a 5hr night event on Saturday night (5-10pm) and a 6hr foot or cycle event on Sunday.

For those who wish to enjoy a full weekend of rogaining, free entry to either the day foot or cycle event on Sunday will be offered to teams who also participate in the night foot event on Saturday. Go to the ACTRA website for more info and entry details

Calling all creative people!

Over the years a couple of category trophies have gone missing and need to be replaced:

- Under 23

- Women's Veteran

Our other trophies are typically boots mounted on a base or walking sticks. Do you have any good ideas for a rogaining related trophy for these two categories? Are you able to make or buy one or know a good supplier? Any help is greatly appreciated! Please ring or email Mark Von Huben on 0425 215 092 or mvonhuben@cochlear.com.

Calling more creative people!

Are you able to help NSWRA with publicity? We need someone to help make rogaining better known so more people can enjoy our wonderful sport. If you would like to help, please ring Gill on 0413 905 551 or email Dave secretary@nswroganing.org
