A Successful Protest

We had a protest after the Minigaine on Sunday. Four teams had visited control 84 but not successfully punched and therefore had lost 80 points. In line with our stricter policy on score adjustments (which you can read about here... ) we will not adjust scores for miss punches without a protest.

A protest was duly lodged and upheld by the Protest Committee. On review it seems the control's clock had reset about half way during the event, probably as a result of interference from a passer-by. The clock reset was a good clue that all was not well with that control. Interestingly 100 people had successfully punched at that control, some before before and some after the clock reset.

Version 3 of our results are now posted and individual second place competitor, Andrew Brown, has now been added to the results.
